To encourage and support sustainable socio-economic development in Bridgend’s rural communities
Target Communities

What kind of project will be supported?
Projects which have an economic benefit for the area or support sustainable regeneration –
- Improvements to community buildings to bring them into wider economic use
- Equipment for community groups to help in generating income
- Community events and festivals
- Community-based environmental regeneration projects
Who is eligible?
- Community groups
- Voluntary organisations
- Social and community enterprises (not-for-profits)
- SMEs that demonstrate a significant contribution to the local economy
Applications will not be considered for:
- activities that are judged to distort or threaten to distort competition
- projects that would be eligible for funding through the primary industry measures of the Objective 1 Programme, under one of the Economic Development Units existing grant schemes or other grant schemes e.g. AIG, Assembly Investment Grants
