Retailing and Commercial Centres in Bridgend County Borough
The protection and enhancement of the viability, attractiveness and vitality of the town and district centres in the County Borough is one of the key objectives of the adopted Bridgend Unitary Development Plan (UDP). To ensure this however, an effective monitoring programme needs to be in place to examine how the Established Commercial Centres (ECCs) of the County Borough are performing on an annual basis.
Each year, Retailing and Commercial Centres in Bridgend County Borough brings together the annual town centre health checks for Bridgend, Porthcawl and Maesteg as well as updating the Bridgend County Borough Retail Survey. The document therefore provides comprehensive data on the occupancy and size of all units within the 3 Town Centres and 10 District Centres of the County Borough.
