Pest Control
The council offers a pest control service to residential premises in the county borough. Pests of public health significance (rats, mice, cockroaches, bedbugs) are usually treated free of charge. Other pests (including fleas and wasps) can be treated for a charge. The section also offers an insect identification service. Advice and guidance on treating and preventing pests is available.
