Who we are
The Licensing and Registration Section deals with a variety of licences. The section processes applications and issues licences for the grant, renewal and transfer of the many licences, including applications for alcohol and entertainment venues, taxis and the processing of applications and issuing of licences under the Gambling Act 2005. We also deal with street trading consents and charity collections, further details will appear as our website is updated.
Licensing Enforcement Officers also visit licensed premises and taxi vehicles to inspect and ensure compliance of licence conditions and can deal with any complaints from members of the public.
