Extended opening hours at Customer Service Centre
Bridgend County Borough Council’s Customer Service Centre has returned to its extended opening hours following the Christmas and New Year period to make it easier and more convenient for local people to do business with the council.
Open for business between 8am - 7pm Monday to Friday, the centre is also about to start hosting weekly drop-in surgeries from Age Concern Morgannwg.
Starting from January 12, the surgeries will allow people aged 50 and over to call in for advice and guidance on Mondays between 10am-12noon.
Based at the Civic Offices in Angel Street, Bridgend, the Customer Service Centre is fully accessible and offers a bilingual service, digital signage and self-serve kiosks for online payments, viewing planning applications, downloading forms or obtaining copies of publications.
Private interview rooms and specially-adapted furniture, Braille, large-print and multi-language translation services are also available.
Customers with disabilities can also ring ahead and book a parking space in the car park at the rear of the Civic Offices to make their visit more convenient.
