The white ribbon campaign was launched today (Thursday, 27 November) to help tackle domestic violence in Bridgend County Borough.

The launch took place at Civic Offices and is being backed by the Celtic Crusaders, who have agreed to wear a white ribbon, which is the international symbol for the Eradication of Violence Against Women.

Celtic Crusaders Community Development Officer Matthew Pritchard was present at the launch and said: "This is an important initiative which we are pleased to support. By wearing the white ribbon we hope it will raise awareness."
