Welsh Church Act Fund – Applications invited for 2004/05 funding
The Welsh Church Act Fund is inviting applications for funding for the financial year 2004/05. To apply, applicants should represent a church or chapel, an organisation or be an individual, based in Bridgend, Merthyr Tydfil and Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough areas or undertaking work that benefits local residents. Organisations must either be registered as a charity, hold certificates of charitable status, or have funds which are exempt from income tax. Applications for grant support from individuals towards a specific activity will be considered provided the applicant is resident in the County Borough areas.
Applicants can apply for grant support for the following purposes:

Relief of need |

Libraries, museums, art galleries |

Protection of historic buildings |

Medical and social research |
|
Probation |
|
Assistance for blind persons |
|
Assistance for aged persons |

Emergency or disaster relief |

Social and recreational |
Prospective applicants should note that grants cannot be made for the general running expenses of an organisation.
