School Modernisation Programme: Phase 2

11-18 Learning Provision In The Gateway To The Valleys Area

 

The purpose of this report is to set out options for the provision of 11–18 learning provision in the Gateway to the Valleys (includes Garw Valley, Ogmore Valley, Aberkenfig, Bryncethin, Brynmenyn, Pen-y-Fai, Tondu and Sarn) and to seek approval to proceed with a detailed feasibility study of a preferred option.

Adoption of Play Area Located at Cornelius Close, South Cornelly

 

The purpose of this report is to obtain Cabinet approval to accept the offer of Llanmoor Development Co. Limited to dedicate open space land to Bridgend County Borough Council and provide an equipped children’s play area.

   

7.

Adoption of Playing Field Extension and Four Team Changing Room Building at Locks Lane, Porthcawl

 

The purpose of this report is to obtain Cabinet approval for Bridgend County Borough Council to adopt the playing field extension and four team changing room building at Locks Lane, Porthcawl.

Delegation of Powers

The Health Act 2006 (Part 1), The Transmissible Spongiform Encephalopathies (Wales) Regulations 2006, The Fraud Act 2006 and The Animal Welfare Act 2006

 

To arrange for the Delegation of Powers to the Executive Director - Environment to enable powers to be exercised under the following legislation:

The Health Act 2006 (Part 1)

The Transmissible Spongiform Encephalopathies (Wales) Regulations 2006

The Fraud Act 2006

The Animal Welfare Act 2006.

   

9.

Pride In Our Communities Project

 

Appendix 1

 

To update the Cabinet on the “Pride in Our Communities” project during the first six months of operation.

Proposed Changes to the Constitution

 

To propose changes to the constitution affecting Cabinet as part of the current review.

   

11.

Any Other Business which by reason of special circumstances the

Chairman is of the opinion should be considered at the meeting as a matter of urgency.
