To update the Cabinet Committee on the report to Council on the 8 November 2006

Draft Children’s Services Service Plan

To inform the Cabinet Committee objectives and priorities in Children’s Services for 2007/08 in line with the Personal Services Directorate plan and requirements set out by the Social Services Inspectorate for Wales (SSIW) under the Serious Concerns Protocol.

SSIW Monitoring Visit 26 and 27 October 2006

To inform the Cabinet Committee of progress in Children’s Services following a monitoring visit by the Social Services Inspectorate for Wales (SSIW).

Any other business which by reason of special circumstances the Chairman is of the opinion should be considered at the meeting as a matter of urgency.
