To advise Cabinet of an application for allotments in Ogmore Vale from local residents.

Review of Safety Inspections Undertaken on Highways within Bridgend County Borough

 

To obtain the Cabinet’s approval of a revised safety inspection regime, which has been based on the recommendations contained within the document “A Code of Practice for Highway Maintenance Management”.

   

9.

School Balances 2005/2006

 

To keep Cabinet Members informed of the level of balances held by schools at the end of the 2005/2006 financial year and the reasons for holding such balances as part of the overall strategy for monitoring school balances

Review of Home to School/College Transport and Travel Policy

 

To inform members of the issues and implications of potential changes to the current policy on home to school/college transport and travel and to seek agreement on proposals for consultation.

Proposed Development of a 14 – 19 Skills Centre in Bridgend: Unit 34, Village Farm Industrial Estate, Pyle

 

To seek Cabinet’s approval to establish a Skills Centre in Bridgend for 14-19 year old learners at Unit 34, Village Farm Industrial Estate, Pyle.

Reports Issued by the Public Services Ombudsman (Wales) Act 2005

 

To provide copies of two reports issued by the Public Services Ombudsman for Wales under Section 21 of the Public Services Ombudsman (Wales) Act upholding two complaints of maladministration made against the Authority regarding the failure to deal with Homelessness applications.

Any Other Business which by reason of special circumstances the Chairman is of the opinion should be considered at the meeting as a matter of urgency.
