To request Cabinet approval of the proposed schedule of meetings in 2005/06.

   

7.

Forward Work Programme

 

In accordance with Rule 12 of Part 4 of the Council’s Constitution the Chief Executive is required to prepare a Forward Work Programme and provide the schedule for the publication of the programme for the coming year.

   

8.

Rural Economy Action Project (REAP)

 

To outline the operations of the REAP (Rural Economy Action Project) and to obtain Cabinet approval in relation to the proposed grant approval procedures. The main body of the Project Implementation Manual (with Appendices 1 – 4).

   

9.

Work-Life Balance Strategy – Progress and Future Development

 

To provide Cabinet with a progress report in relation to the Council’s Work-Life Balance Strategy and to request Cabinet to approve a revised action plan to complete its overall strategic commitment to the activities associated with work-life balance.

   

10.

Nursery Admission Arrangements

 

To inform Cabinet of the current arrangements regarding the admission of pupils to nursery schools and nursery classes within Primary and infants Schools

11.

Social Housing Grant Programme

 

The purpose of this report is to present Cabinet a new Welsh Assembly Government approach to the Social Housing Grant (SHG) programme distribution and delivery for 2005-06 and beyond; and to present the proposed Social Housing Grant programme for 2005-06.

   

12.

Children First Management Action Plan

 

To provide Cabinet with the details of the Children First Management Action Plan 2005/06. The Children First is a Welsh Assembly Government (WAG) initiative which promotes multi agency working to improve the health and social wellbeing and educational achievement of children in need.
