Sponsored by The Felinfoel Brewery Company
The Grand Pavilion is delighted to host Wales’ biggest annual Celtic Festival featuring over 300 International artists, in a varied programme of instrumental music, song and dance concerts, as well as twmpath dawns/ceilidhs, from all the Celtic countries.
Appearing for the first time will be the exciting Riverdance lead musician Niamh Ní Charra and her trio. Niamh has toured worldwide with Riverdance for eight years and brings her own fantastic show to Wales. Bridgend’s own internationally famous band Mabon head the Welsh line-up, while Cork born Colum Regan is joined by his talented brother Eoghan on guitar for a mix of new and trad songs and Scotland’s Strathspey Fiddle Orchestra also appear.
Saturday afternoon also sees the colourful Parade of the Celts, in Porthcawl Town Centre, with The City of Newcastle Pipers and a host of dancers and musicians in a spectacular free event!
