The Gondoliers is arguably one of the greatest masterpieces that came from the collaboration between Gilbert and Sullivan and it is certainly one of the most popular. It contains some of Sullivan’s brightest and most tuneful music and has a most intriguing plot. This Charity performance will involve over fifty singers and a full orchestra and will provide an evening of delightful musical entertainment to remember.
The proceeds from the performance will go to The Royal British Legion, Macmillan, for cancer support and The Save the Children Fund. Since being formed in 1994, The Mid Glamorgan Savoyards have raised well over £40,000 for various local and national charities and with The Gondoliers they are confident that this figure can be significantly increased.
