The Grand Pavilion in Porthcawl is delighted to announce that Real Radio’s very own Tony Wright will once again be treading the boards come Christmas time at the town’s theatre.
Tony will be stepping into costume for the second year running to play Dame Dorothy Doo-it in the Imagine Theatre production of the popular fairytale, Beauty and the Beast.
The pantomime which will run from December 12 2009 to January 3 2010, will be full of fun for the whole family.
Tony Wright, said: “I am so excited to be returning to the Grand Pavilion this Christmas, I had so much fun last year!
“It is really great seeing the audience reactions, especially the kids who love the Dame character!”
Steve Boden, producer of the show from Imagine Theatre, said: “Having Tony onboard again for this year’s panto is brilliant as he plays such a great dame.
“Everyone loved Tony last year when he played Widow Twanky in Aladdin, so to have him returning as the dame in Beauty and the Beast is great!”
