Maesteg Pool temporary closure
Maesteg Pool is temporarily closed to swimmers while important upgrades are carried out on the pool’s filtration plant.
While the pool has been operating safely until now, experts have advised there could be a risk of the water becoming contaminated in the future. Your health and safety is our priority so the pool will be closed until all corrective work has taken place.
Measures are being put in place to ensure that our other pools and centres can meet any additional demand. During the closure the pools at Bridgend Recreation Centre, Ynysawdre, Pyle and Pencoed will still be available, alongside the borough’s privately owned swimming pools and school facilities.
