The Economic Development Unit is a team with the knowledge and the ability to help those who are planning to set up or expand a business in Bridgend County Borough.

We encourage enquiries from all sizes of organisation, from small start-up projects to large multi-national companies, with the objective of converting as many enquiries as possible into business successes.

All enquiries are dealt with in a confidential, professional and friendly way. Free advice is provided on the essential ingredients of a successful business project, such as fresh capital, loans and grants, sites and premises or an extension to existing facilities. The unit also administers the Local Investment Grant Fund.

Through close liaison with the Welsh Assembly Government’s Regional Centre Service and other business support organisations, we can help business people to make the right decisions and progress their development plans quickly and positively.
