Welcome to the Bridgend Environmental Education & Sustainability (BEES) Partnership website.

Our vibrant, local Partnership is made up of a variety of organisations and Bridgend County Borough Council Officers. The Partnership is co-ordinated by Bridgend County Borough Council.

We come from diverse backgrounds and cover varied topics, but we are all committed to supporting Education for Sustainable Development & Global Citizenship (ESDGC) within the County Borough of Bridgend within our schools, colleges, youth groups and life-long learning facilities.

ESDGC is all about the things that we do every day. It addresses the big issues in the world, such as climate change, trade, health and human rights, and looks at how they relate to each other and to us. It is about how we treat each other, locally and globally and how we treat the earth that we live on. ESDGC is about informing learners that their choices and decisions have an impact on the lives of others, as well as the planet.

This website is designed to provide you with everything that you need to enable you to easily incorporate ESDGC into the life of your school, college, youth group or learning community.
