How to find us

Bulky waste

Local residents can use our bulky waste service to dispose of a wide range of large household items.

The service costs £15.50 for up to three items you are able to have additional items booked in at a charge of £5.20 each, maximum of 15 items.

To book your collection or for advice on the Bulky Waste service, call the helpline on Bridgend (01656) 643643, after booking, the collection will take place within 10 working days.

Where items are classed as construction waste we are unable to offer a collection. To find out whether we are able to collect the item that you’d like to dispose of, please see list below.

An assessment is required for the following items:

  • kitchen units
  • worktops
  • loose wood
  • small amounts of loose waste – minimum charge £25

Please note that the bulky waste collection service is not available for businesses or landlords of rented accommodation as their waste is classed as trade waste.

There is no limit to how many times you can use the service for household bulky waste.
