Recycling and waste collections

Important changes to household recycling this summer

This summer, we’ll be changing how you recycle at home by giving you new recycling containers for the weekly collections, while most homes will be limited to throwing out a maximum of two bags of rubbish each fortnight.

We’ll also be introducing a new collection for nappies and absorbent waste, and more than half of homes will have a change to their collection day.
