Valleys to Coast

Valleys to Coast (V2C) Housing Association is an independent not for profit Housing Association which has 7 sheltered housing schemes and one extra care scheme for older persons. There is one member of housing related support staff in each scheme supported by management, administrative and ancillary staff. It provides:

  • 1 scheme in Nantymoel (18 units)
  • 2 schemes in Maesteg (34 units and 18 units)
  • 1 scheme Porthcawl (24 units)
  • 1 scheme in Pyle (30 units)
  • 1 scheme in Sarn (22 units)
  • 1 scheme in Bridgend (14 units)
  • 1 extra care scheme in Kenfig Hill (39 units)

Wales and West

Wales & West Housing Association is registered as a Charitable Association and provides general needs, specialist retirement and sheltered housing to people throughout Wales. It provides:

  • 1 scheme in Porthcawl (12 units)
  • 1 scheme in Pyle (41 units)
  • 1 scheme in Blaengarw (29 units)
  • 1 scheme in Brackla (16 units)
  • 2 schemes in Maesteg (19 units and 4 units)
  • 1 scheme in Newcastle Ward, Bridgend (47 units)
  • 2 schemes in Morfa Ward, Bridgend (44 units and 42 units)
  • 1 scheme in Kenfig Hill (4 units)
  • 2 schemes in Ogmore Vale (16 units and 6 units)

Linc Cymru

Linc Cymru Housing Association is a registered charity providing 36 units of permanent sheltered accommodation for older persons (55+) in Ogmore Vale. The scheme is staffed by a full time Scheme Manager and supported by a Supporting People officer and administration. The out of hours service is provided externally. The scheme consists of 36 flats: 10x1 bed flats; 3x2 bed flats; 1x3 bed flat and 21 single flats.

Hafod Care

Hafod Care Association is a Charitable Housing Association and Registered Support Provider overseen by a Board of Trustees.

Arosfa, run by Hafod Care in Brackla, Bridgend provides low ongoing support for 10 older persons. Rooms are self-contained although there are limited kitchen facilities and as a result two cooked meals per day are provided by catering staff and residents are charged directly for this service.

Hafod Housing Assocation

Hafod Housing Association provides permanent sheltered accommodation for older persons (55+). The scheme consists of 32 flats over two floors (10 double & 22 single flats) in Oldcastle Ward of Bridgend. The scheme is managed during office hours by a full time Scheme Manager and an out-of-hours service is available.
