How to find us

Roads make up the majority of the transport network for Bridgend County Borough, and maintaining a safe, free-flowing road network represents a major challenge, particularly when you consider that between the residents of Bridgend County Borough we own over 57,000 cars, that’s more than 1 car per household! However, the road network isn’t only used by cars. Buses, pedestrians, cyclists, taxis, emergency, refuse and commercial vehicles all make use of our roads, and the road network has to be managed to ensure that it is accessible to all these modes of transport and more. This section contains links to information related to road safety, parking, car sharing, highways development and other topics associated with use of the road network. There are also links to information about motorbike scramblers, and what to do if you are experiencing problems with noise from car alarms or music from cars. For information on road-works, highway maintenance, street lighting and other general highway issues visit the Maintenance page. These pages can be accessed through the links on the left-hand side of the page. The links on the right-hand side will direct you to sites belonging to our partners and other relevant organisations. Contact details for the relevant departments are included on the appropriate pages, however, if you are unsure of which department to contact, please use the customer care contact details below.
