Emergency Plans

The council has a number of plans in place to help ensure it is prepared for a wide range of emergencies.

The plans are reviewed on an annual basis to make sure they are kept up to date.

Major Incident Plan

The Major Incident Plan, which is updated on an annual basis, outlines Bridgend County Borough Council’s key roles and responsibilities in the event of a major emergency. It describes the type of assistance the Council may be called upon to provide in a major incident and explains ‘best practice’ protocols to follow when responding to any emergency.
