New to the Internet?
The Bridgend County Borough Council website does not provide basic information about computers, networks and the Internet. However, a good place to start is the BBC WebWise site.

Community Education and Bridgend College offer courses where you can improve your skills, and the People’s Network offer free access to the Internet at thirteen libraries across the County of Bridgend.

Viewing a web page
Highlighted words (underlined words) in a page are links to bring another page of information to your screen. If you move your mouse pointer over a highlighted word, picture or a menu link the pointer will change to a pointing hand symbol, indicating that it is a link to another page or site.

You can click on the Back and Forward buttons on your browser toolbar to go back or forward) to a page you have previously seen.

Printing the contents of a web page
You can print the contents of a web page you are viewing by clicking on the Print button on the toolbar of your browser. A dialog box will allow you to select printing options and begin printing.
