Easter eggs donated to children in need

Bridge FM Easter Egg Appeal 2017

10 April, 2017

Vulnerable children across Bridgend County Borough will receive an Easter egg thanks to the generosity of local businesses and residents.

In total, 100 eggs have been kindly donated to Bridgend County Borough Council as a result of Bridge FM’s annual Easter appeal, which is supported by Sainsbury’s and HM Prison & Young Offenders Institution Parc.

The local businesses that donated eggs to the appeal included: Broughshire Waste Metals Ltd, FRF Motors and Bridgend Ford.

The Easter eggs were handed over to Lindsay Harvey, Interim Corporate Director for Education & Family Support, for distribution before the Easter break.

Lindsay Harvey said: “Thanks to the Bridge FM appeal, vulnerable children across the county borough will enjoy a chocolate treat this Easter, which I’m sure will bring them immense joy. A massive thank you to all the businesses and residents who kindly donated towards the appeal as without their generosity and contribution this initiative wouldn’t have been possible.”
