Am I Actually 'Homeless'?

You have told us that you are a UK citizen who normally lives in the UK, so you would appear to be eligible to be considered for housing under homelessness legislation.

We need to find out if the law considers you to be homeless or threatened with homelessness.

It is not just a case of having nowhere to live right here and now. What needs to be taken into account is whether or not you have rights to accommodation anywhere, that it would be reasonable and safe for you to live in. For example, if you leave the family home following a row, if your parent or partner is prepared to let you go back - at least for a while (and there is no risk of violence), you will not be homeless.

Think about this, and, if you are certain that there is nowhere where it is reasonable for you to live, continue with the assessment.
