CONSIDERATION
OF DEPOSIT REPRESENTATIONS
The
authority has to consider all the representations made to
the deposit plan in accordance with the Regulations. Any representations
that cannot be resolved by negotiation must be heard at a
Public Inquiry to be presided over by an independent Inspector
appointed by the National Assembly.
Some
1230 organisations and individuals made a total of 2108 representations
on the deposit plan, comprising 2017 objections, 8 comments
and 83 supporting statements. Of the 2017 duly made objections,
1275 relate to multiples in respect of three policies. The
omission of the green wedge at Island Farm from Policy
EV11(15) generated 858 objections, whilst the industrial
allocations at Wern Tarw E3(21) and Wern Fawr E3(22)
generated 205 and 212 objections respectively. A public inspection
copy of all those representations has been made, and its availability
was advertised in the Glamorgan Gazette on 13 September 2001.
All
duly made representations are set out in a Report
on Deposit Representations, as amended at Council.
