brief history history

Nestled within 113 acres of Country Parkland, Bryngarw combines the noble character of a Celtic Baronial home with the style & sophistication of a Country House Establishment.

Conveniently located only 2 miles off Junction 36 of the M4 midway between Cardiff and Swansea, Bryngarw is an ideal venue for South Wales.

Dating back to 1743 Bryngarw's structure of grey sandstone was built in the Tudorbethan style by the Traherne family. Over two hundred years later, following major renovations and refurbishment, the character and relaxing atmosphere still remains and is enhanced by modern creature comforts.
