Bridgend County Borough is located on the Southern Wales coast between the cities of Cardiff and Swansea
The County Borough spans the M4 Motorway and has three major junctions within its boundaries.
Junction 35 for the eastern section of the county and the Glamorgan Heritage Coast
Junction 36 for Bridgend, Maesteg and the shopping.
Junction 37 for the western section of the county, Porthcawl, and the beaches.
Junction 36 has a service area, petrol station, and the huge Bridgend Designer shopping outlet, with restaurants and a nine-screen cinema. It is an ideal refreshment halt or a half day or full day visit.
The M4 motorway, which cuts through the County Borough, gives direct access from London and the continental and Irish ports.
It couldn't be more accessible from the UK and Irish Republic. Being only two hours from London on the Intercity train route, and only 20 minutes drive from the International Airport at Cardiff.

Bridgend is on a number of National Express routes from major destinations throughout the UK.
