Tourism Development
The County Borough's Tourism Unit has a small professional team specialising in assisting businesses to develop their potential, through the Tourism Development Grants Scheme.
The team offers information and advice on a number of issues including initial set-up, funding opportunities and part finance for a variety of subjects, including, a cash injection, for marketing plans and strategies. We can also direct you to other grants from the authority for such items as IT equipment and planning.
The Unit also works closely with the Economic Development Unit and the Tourism Marketing Unit so it can assist with larger grants for alterations and room upgrades to hotels as well as advice on leaflets, booklets and brochures.
